The Ghost Army was officially known as the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops. From June 1944 to March 1945 it staged 20 battlefield deceptions, beginning in Normandy and ending at the Rhine River.

Stop by at NPL’s LGBTQ+ club! Each monthly meeting will have a different activity. This is an inclusive space welcoming of allies, members of the community, and those still unsure where they belong.

In celebration of our pet library gecko GG’s 3rd Adopt-a-versary we’ll be visited by some of her scaly pals! We’ll listen and learn about other members of the reptile family and even get to interact with a few.

Wait, what IS felting?? It's an age old art that uses natural fibers, such as wool, a specialized needle tool and other materials to help create projects both fun and functional.

Every Thursday when school is in session, we’ll meet in the Community Room for games and snacks. There’ll be board games and video games to choose from! Open to grades 7-12. 

Earn volunteer hours by knitting (or crocheting!) with your friends! Sessions are open to beginners and experienced knitters/crocheting. You’ll earn volunteer hours for attending the sessions, but also by finishing projects at home.

Pierre Auguste Renoir is known and loved for his impressionist paintings of Paris which rank among the world’s favourites. Renoir, however, grew tired of this style and changed course.
