Chinese Instrumental Music

This program will feature some of the most talented Chinese classical and folk musicians in the U.S. presenting gems of Chinese music performed on the Shen (Chinese mouth organ), Guzheng (zither), Pipa (lute), Erhu (two-string fiddle), flute, and other traditional Chinese instruments. The program includes an introduction to Chinese folk and classical music, as well as lore and mythology associated with the instruments.
