Join Donald "Doc" Bayne to explore the island's Hudson River history, from evidence of Native Americans on the island, to the late 1800's when the island became a tourist attraction with an amusement park, hotel picnic ground, major U.S. Navy arsenal and finally a National Natural Landmark.
